| Application Lifecycle Management | How do we reduce the gap between what we wanted to develop and what was developed in practice? How do we meet the content, time and budgetary targets? How should the project versions be managed?
SRL's ALM experts are engaged in methodically charting and defining processes of work at all stages of the project – initiation, development, examinations, propagation and maintenance.
We develop methodologies using Microsoft's Visual Studio Team System, for managing the development lifecycle.
SRL Group is a certified Gold Partner of Microsoft. It carried out the first project in Israel that integrated Team System (at Valor company), and has implemented most of the projects in the Team System field executed in the Israeli market. Similarly, the consultants and architects of the ALM group are partners in the design of coming versions of the platform, cooperating with Microsoft's global product development team.
Since the first VSTS integration in Israel we have implemented more than 70 local projects in all types of sectors, and at this moment we are completing the world's first Camano (VSTS 2010 test tool) integration at Microsoft R&D. |

- Process templates analysis of the development process and execution of customization for managing tasks and faults
- Source Control – creation of a product tree that supports propagation of systems and versions, the ability to build Hot Fixes and distribute changes to related branches, e.g. support in separating environments into separate zones for development, tests and production in a configuration that enables a controlled distribution of bug fixes to all the environments.
- Build – the automatic Build process represents the integration point of task management and configuration management . It enables managing the software versions that we create in a way that gives us control over the tasks contained in it and that define it, and consequently over the products derived from the tasks.
- Proper integration of Team System – maximization of the tool's prospects for success, training, application and programming for the client, and creation of Power User within the organization by means of training.
- Development of tailor-made solutions for the client's needs. For example – integration of Team System with CRM systems , synchronization engine between Quality Center and Team System, and other custom development.
- Installation and upgrading of Visual Studio Team Foundation Server.
